Because I'm a pretty lazy cook, but still want to eat healthy, I focus mostly on steaming and grilling my food. For me, once I got in the practice of using healthier cooking approaches, they did not take any more time and now I'm getting all the health benefits from it.

Thanks for this article. I am not big on cooking, but I might as well do it right if I am going to do it. My habit has been to just throw some broccoli in the pot to steam and turn on the heat. I need to try your suggestion of bringing the water to a boil first because I do feel the water tends to become quite green. I am also happy to hear that the consistency of the broccoli that I like to eat is the most healthy as well - not too hard or overcooked.

My favorite on the grill is simply organic, boneless, skinless chicken breasts turned over multiple times with a squeeze of lemon every time I turn them over. Mmmmmmmm.
